Stop Online Piracy Act. Scheduled for a Senate vote next week.
#SOPA gives the government power to indiscriminately take down websites, blogs, and even Facebook profiles.
They make it sound like the Can Spam Act but with much more authority given to government.
Very closely associated with PIPA, (Protect IP Act).

Both of these acts allow government censorship of online activity.
